Bank Stabilization (Bioengineering)
Retaining, conditioning and enriching poor soil conditions are the foundation for the establishment, growth, and sustainability of plant life. An assembly of plants makes a plant community. A plant community forms habitat. Habitat supports wildlife and provides society with numerous values. Ecosystem Services, LLC has been incorporating bioengineering and biotechnical methods into water resource projects long before bioengineering was recognized. We use a variety of living and non-living plant and geosynthetic materials and techniques for slope and bank stabilization, erosion reduction, and vegetative establishment to preserve soil – a critical and valuable resource.
